Fruity Yoghurt Pops

Looking for a refreshing after-school treat that’s both delicious and wholesome? These fruity yoghurt pops are the perfect way to cool down on a hot day. Made with simple, nourishing ingredients like yoghurt and your favourite summer fruits, they’re packed with calcium, protein, and essential vitamins and minerals. Try experimenting with different fruit combinations—swap out rockmelon for juicy watermelon, mango, banana, or pineapple to find your family's favourite flavour. With icy pole moulds easily available at homewares stores or online, these sweet, creamy pops are simple to whip up and even more fun to eat. Pro tip: To pop them out of the moulds, just run them under warm water and give the sticks a gentle wiggle!

Ingredients:     Makes approx. 8 medium ice blocks.

  • 1 cup chopped rockmelon
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  •  1/2 cup yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • Sliced kiwi fruit for decorating

Method:

  1. In a food processor, blend rockmelon and orange juice until smooth and thin consistency.
  2. Combine yoghurt, maple syrup and vanilla in a small bowl.

  4. sliced fruit down the side.
  5. Add pop sticks and freeze overnight then enjoy as a cool summer treat.
