Boosted Banana Smoothie

Do your kids love a banana smoothie? This is a classic banana smoothie (one of my all time favs) but boosted. This smoothie is a great way to get a few extra greens into your child's diet, especially if they're fussy, as it still tastes just like a banana smoothie! 

 

You'll Need...

1 frozen banana

1 cup baby spinach

1 tsp cinnamon

1 Tbs maple syrup

1/2 cup unsweetened greek yoghurt

400ml reduced fat cows milk

ice

 

Blitz and serve - makes 2

Psst - we think this is great smoothie to serve during Halloween you can turn it into "Monster Milk" and really have some fun with it by adding whipped cream and crushed Oreos as "dirt" on the top. Don't forget a spooky straw! It's a great snack to offer to get kids into the spirit of Halloween before trick or treating, that helps fill them up and give them some much needed fibre to balance out all of that sugar!
